Fun Times at the Zoo!

To our little buddy.... We decided to try and work in a few last play-dates before your baby sister arrives. So today we took a fun filled trip to the zoo! You had such a great time... You just loved watching the monkeys and the flamingos. You also loved being in charge of holding the map, seriously you would not let it go : ) Mommy and Daddy had a great time spending the day with you, even if mommy was completely worn out by the end of the day. It was definitely worth it! Love seeing you smile...

A Mommy's View

Every part of motherhood is just wonderful..... So today looking at my belly, and knowing that in less than a month we will be welcoming our sweet daughter into this world, I decided I just had to capture this very moment... Becoming a mother for the first time was such a joy. I really never knew how much love I could feel towards another person.... and now with a second sweet blessing on the way it's just wonderful at how the Lord prepares your heart for such ever growing love.

I just love the view that we get to see sometimes... To imagine what God sees in us, and the love that He has towards us is so wonderful. I'm so grateful for my babies... The ones we now know about and the ones yet to come.... Thank you Lord for a Mommy's view!

Daddy's Little Helper

Well during our "Operation Bonus Room" daddy had a surprise helper.... Our little Jonah was absolutely precious! It's obvious that he spends a lot of time with his mommy. I'm always telling Jonah what a good boy he is, and telling him "good job" when he completes any task... like finishing his breakfast, coloring pages, and going potty. Well while helping daddy, he would take his hammer and hit a nail, then finish by saying to himself "good job". We loved it! Jonah, Mommy & Daddy love you so much, your such a wonderful helper, and we just love your sweet encouraging spirit...

Celebrating the Impending Arrival of Kiyah

So many blessings! This weekend we celebrated the future arrival of our sweet girl, Kiyah... My sweet sister-in-laws and dear friend Audra planned and very successfully executed an absolutely perfect baby shower! What a beautiful day surrounded by family and friends. I truly did feel all the love that others have for me and my family... I just have to say, that I have in the past, I had focused more on the relationships that have been broken in my life, but today the Lord is so lovingly showing me all the love that is in the present. I am definitely learning how to receive all the love the Lord has for me, and I am so thankful for all the wonderful people in my life.

Kiyah~
I am so excited to be bringing you into this world where I know you will be so loved.... I know that God has huge plans for your life, and I am so looking forward to seeing all that you will become....

Not Part of the Plan.....

Wow! So where do I begin..... Well this week has been very challenging to say the least, we had been standing against sickness in Jonah pretty much for the whole week, and he just had not been feeling like himself so needless to say that we spent a lot of "mommy time" together. So Saturday morning everyone is feeling good, and were on the mend, right? Well when trying to get ready for our baby shower for sweet Kiyah, Robert comes down stairs with Jonah in his arms, and little man is now bleeding! Apparently he fell into the corner of the wall while playing around, or at least that's what he told us, neither one of us saw the actual fall... So my quiet morning of embracing the moment of spending time with family and friends and celebrating little Kiyah made a sudden turn for nothing else but to be with my little guy. Daddy convinced me that he could handle the situation and take him to the ER by himself, but mommy was still not happy. Reluctantly, I let Robert take him while mommy stayed home and actually took shower and was able to get ready for Kiyah's shower, but very quickly.... Mommy just met up a bit later with the boys in the ER. Very thankful for Jonah's sweet spirit, even through this ordeal, he was happy! Just let him know that this was his first and last visit to an emergency room!

Thoughts towards our little Kiyah

Our sweet Kiyah... Getting ready to go to our midwife appointment and we're down to five weeks now! Even thought I can not physically see your body being created I have complete faith in our Father who is watching you in utter seclusion. I'm looking forward to meeting you and seeing Gods masterpiece finally in my arms. Reading in the Word today, I'm fully energized and engaged on this path to bringing you into this world. I am fully confident to see the things on Earth be as they are in Heaven... Looking so forward to seeing your precious face, you are so loved. ~ Mommy

Decorations for Kiyah

Well, along with running after Mr. Jonah all day, I try and find a bit of free time to finish some of the finishing touches on our sweet Kiyah's room... So today while little man was down for his nap, I decided to work on a few pictures for her walls. I absolutely love the way they have turned out so far... still need to attach the ribbon and get her daddy to hang them on her wall. Love seeing things coming together! Hopefully we'll have her nursery complete within the next week or so, and we can sit back and wait for her precious arrival...

Break out in Song!

Well lately Jonah has really showed me that he really is his own little person.... Sometimes with little ones you go about your day, not realizing how much they're learning and picking up... Often when were in the car we're jamming to music. One of our favorite CD's is one that I created for him of just random kids praise songs.... The other day after his nap while I was preparing his lunch I decided to turn on his music, and to my surprise he started singing along! It just made my heart so happy to hear his praising the Lord... I love this little guy so much, and I'm so thankful for his happy spirit.
